Annie Knows Everything is a workplace romance set at a tech company. Annie has just transferred to a new team and finds herself attracted to her new boss, Connor. But can their budding love survive incoming workplace drama? Of course it can, because this is a romance.
I really enjoyed this book, especially the setting, the characters, and the chemistry and banter between Annie and Connor. I also loved Annie and Connor’s coworkers and friends, Ben, John, and Martin. The five of them have such a fun dynamic.
On the other hand, Annie’s relationships with her parents and sister rang less true. Those scenes felt like the weakest parts of the book to me.
Overall, I highly recommend this one for fans of romance, contemporary fiction, or any woman who has ever gone on a date with a product manager and wondered what that job title actually means. I could also see this translating really well to the screen, so I’m crossing my fingers for an adaptation.
