Double Standard is a celebrity/normal person with a fake dating twist. Ana is a notoriously difficult actress who has just landed a make-or-break movie role, only to be caught in what looks like (but isn’t) a compromising position with her married costar. To save her reputation and her part, she decides to pretend she was actually with his stunt double, Levi. And then, naturally, things get complicated.
I love a celebrity/normal person romance, but the chemistry between Ana and Levi never quite rang true for me. All three main characters felt lightly sketched out. This one was just fine. A necessary read for 831 Stories completists, but otherwise not essential.
